Just in case you forgot what a real longbed pickup looks like. This is a International model KB.3. The KB series was new in 1947 and the 3 designated a 1 ton load chassis.

Once upon at time quad headlights were the custom touch. This fine pickup has a lot of period features like the nerf bars, chrome pipe up to the bed rails, slim scallops, chrome revese rims and flat caps, and those chrome louvers.

Although not to everyone’s taste, this very non-traditional ’53 Chevy pickup stretches the mind as to what a pickup should look like. Lots of effort and attention to detail went into this build.
